The Surf Tapered Shock Leader is made from tough abrasion resistant nylon to withstand the strains of long casting and fishing.
Tapered leaders are very popular with fixed spool users as the longer length of leader and the small neat leader knot help to smooth out the cast and greatly reduce the risk of tangles and crack offs caused by the leader knot catching in the rod rings. Each leader is 15m long allowing them to be used with any length of rod.
